Leaflet.js
While going back through stuff from this quarter I found that in the build folder of Leaflet there is a build.html file that has several selectable options. Some how none of us noticed this before. But it looks as though some of the options could be very useful in the future… …if I ever want a map…. …on a website…. …that I can locate stuff with.

Eff You JavaScript
I have spent the last hour trying to get my website back from a JavaScript disaster. Evidently if you don’t put JavaScript in the right way it can make your whole website disappear and do all sorts of funky things. Awesome. I some how have recovered it and will continue working. I have it back now, finally, and I am looking it over. There’s a lot of minor things that I need to clean...

Thursday Update
I stayed up late last night trying to get the final website I have been working on to go online which I could not do. This morning I tried it and it worked without a problem. I guess there was some sort of 24 hour delay on being able to upload content. But anyways, this morning was a major step in the right direction. Right now it is Thursday night and I am currently putting all my content onto...

Late Night
I stayed up late tonight putting together and organizing all the stuff that I want to put on my final website. I have broken it down into sections, but they still seem very cluttered and somewhat unorganized. There is a lot of info that I would like to share from this quarter and am still working on how I would like to present it.

Tuesday
Yesterday I finally got a website hosted and up and running using a template. I worked on one earlier in the quarter using skeleton. I decided to do this one this way because I figured it would be more relevant to what I would be using when I start working. Also, for what I need to get done it will be quicker and easier for me to manage. I have never designed a website before from using a template...

Monday
This weekend I worked a lot on the phone apps project. I worked on the first 4 chapters of the Apps Pro book that I bought last week. The project involved making an app to keep track of your tasks. I actually found this to be very useful and helpful to learning how to build phone apps. I found myself struggling quite a bit with learning phone apps, so that was the main reason I bought the book. I...

Applying what I learn outside of class!
One of the important things that I want to take away from the class is the ability to put it to work for me outside of Evergreen. I think that having an understanding of what goes into designing a website is very important in today’s world, especially when dealing with business, which was my area of study at SPSCC and continued at Evergreen. One of the extra projects that I took on this...

Android App
I have been working on creating a CPJ Android App. Today I have found an App on the Android Market place that can create an App and run the App on my phone. Yes, it’s an app that makes apps inside an app! I couldn’t find much information on it. Right now I am having trouble figuring out what I’m supposed to edit. The file naming system seems to be a little different. However...
